It was a couple of blocks from Sapporo station so it was convenient but there was so much snow and some icy areas so you need to be careful. It is a great location to the station so it allows you to use the underground passage as well as getting on the train system. The rooms are small so it was a little hard to move around with the luggage. If you have kids, you will need to consider the size of the room. The breakfast is a must. When I looked in the dining room, I was not expecting much but boy did I get a big surprise! They had a variety to choose from and show cased foods in the region. Delicious! Use the milk as cream; so rich!

The staff are lovely and helpful despite the language barrier. The location is fantastic with a short easy walk from Sapporo station. Sapporo station has so much food and shopping too! It's also great for when it's raining or snowing that you can cross 2 streets and head underground and walk from Apia through multiple shopping malls (Apia, Pole Town, Parco), past Sapporo station, past Daimaru, and end up at Mitsukoshi Department store. So many food and shopping spots. Loved having a window to open for fresh air and to see the snow! And the bathtub was a bonus.

Great service all the way from before checkin to checkout, with excellent communication throughout. Prepared a Mother’s Day surprise together with my friend, and the reservation & front staffs handled it perfectly, also helped to assign our rooms close to each other 😊 The staff at the parking area were great as well. I am not very confident in my driving, but they were always patient and helpful, which really helped ease my anxiety. Great room size and location. Would love to come back again!

Staff was very friendly and reliable, and everything felt clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating on switching my room to a nonsmoking room when I had a smoking room booked (I do not smoke but for some reason I only had smoking rooms as an option at the time of booking).

Though an older building this hotel is very clean, well maintained, and the rooms are spacious. The staff are very helpful and excel at what they do. Their breakfast buffet is an awesome option to start the morning with. Will definitely stay here again when we come to Hokkaido. Laundry room has single washer/dryer designed for single loads. Laundry soap automatically dispensed (included). It lets you know what state the washer/dryer is in your room tv. 🙂

The front desk personnel were so very helpful, kind and friendly! One young woman went out of her way to help us find directions and printed up a map to show us exactly where to go! And thanks to her help, we had no problem finding the place! We are so thankful for her kindly help and with such a cheerful spirit! We hope to stay at Mitsui Garden again!

The location was ideal for travellers that like walking as it is walking distance to all the major tourist attractions. The property itself is fairly new with a good lounge / breakfast venue where you can use it free of charge other than breakfast time for some liquid refreshments.

It was very close to the station, which was convenient. I liked the public bath - it was small but relaxing.
